Four-time Indian Premier League (IPL)-winning captain of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni has begun prepping for the upcoming IPL 2023 season which is expected to begin in late March this year.
Dhoni would love to do better than what CSK managed in IPL 2022 when the four-time champs ended up in the 9th spot in the points table with only four wins in the tournament.
Many have been touting that this IPL 2023 might be Dhoni’s last outing in the Indian Premier League as he wants to thank the fans all over the country given that the tournament will be back to the home and away format after three years of Covid restrictions.
CSK will also get to play games at home in Chepauk and Dhoni would love to give back to the diehard CSK backers with some more memories to cherish.
Given that Dhoni doesn’t play any cricket apart from IPL, he has begun preparing for the upcoming season as he was seen practicing in the nets at the Jharkhand Cricket Association Stadium (JSCA) in Ranchi.
The video of Dhoni sweating it out in the nets has gone viral on social media.
