VOTE: Top high school football performances from Week 4. Who’s your player of the week?


Seven highschool soccer gamers from Alamance County and surrounding space groups produced influence performances in Week 4, making them candidates for the Instances-Information Soccer Participant of the Week award.

Now it is time to vote on these athletes.

Check out every of the highest performers and vote by way of Tuesday evening. The winner will likely be introduced on-line Wednesday morning.

Khyair Lundy, Jap Guilford

The senior receiver caught 5 passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns in Jap Guilford’s 47-0 victory in opposition to Jamestown Ragsdale. He additionally punched in a 5-yard dashing landing.

Braxton Veiga, Jap Guilford

The junior linebacker tallied 13 tackles, together with 5 for losses, one sack, one interception and one move breakup.

Khavrie Hightower, Graham

The junior hauled in six receptions for 101 yards and a landing in Graham’s 33-14 victory in opposition to host Wake Christian Academy. He added 25 yards and one landing within the run sport.

TJ Mitchell, Graham

The junior working again racked up 95 dashing yards and a landing on 15 carries for the Pink Devils.

Nevaeh Gattis, Southern Alamance

The senior running back carried the ball 14 times for 214 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots’ 40-14 victory against host Western Alamance, after losing his status as a team captain. Defensively, he made 3½ tackles.

Braxton Meyers, Southern Alamance

The senior piled up 115 dashing yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries. Meyers was voted the Times-News Football Player of the Week for Aug. 30-Sept. 5.

Coleman Mahan, Wiliams

The junior defensive finish completed with 12 tackles, together with 5 for losses, and a sack because the Bulldogs fell to visiting Jap Randolph 8-6.
