LSG Pays Special Tribute To Marcus Stoinis With Twitter Bio Change

The Lucknow Super Giants team gave standout all-arounder Marcus Stoinis a special homage. The honour was given following Stoinis’ outstanding performance against Punjab Kings on Friday. Stoinis’ abilities and contributions to the team seem to have the franchise in awe.

When LSG scored 257 runs, the second-highest team total in IPL history, and piled on the runs, Stoinis was the star of the show in Mohali.

Marcus Stoinis, an Australian all-rounder, hit six boundaries and five sixes throughout his innings to score 72 off just 40 balls. After that, Stoinis would bowl, and he would take a big wicket of Shikhar Dhawan, who had been the key run-scorer up front for PBKS.

The all-rounder had to leave the field after hurting his finger, but his job was finished for the evening because PBKS failed to meet the challenge and eventually folded for 201 runs. Naveen-ul-Haq took three while Yash Thakur took four.

Stoinis received the Player Of The Match award for his overall effort. The LSG franchise was obviously quite happy with this performance, so their social media staff made the decision to give their great all-arounder a special homage. LSG made the decision to update their Twitter bio, announcing that they were now a Stoinis fan page.

“We were just trying to build a partnership” – Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis, an all-arounder, claimed that Badoni did not anticipate that their third-wicket partnership would result in 257 runs. The Australian all-rounder added that he did love the accountability that comes with batting a little bit lower and bringing the game to a close.

“We were just trying to build a partnership. He got off to a flyer, was hitting some nice shots and he’s a very talented player. We were just trying to keep building on that and that was our only focus. I do enjoy the responsibility of batting a bit lower and seeing the game home, “Marcus Stoinis said.
