In a video shared by Rajasthan Royals on their Twitter handle, the head coach can be seen singing praise for captain Sanju.
“Skipper, thank you for going in.”
“I think when you watch Sanju bat one of the things that Jos has made this observation before is that he always plays for the side,” Sangakkara revealed.

“Not about the runs, but it’s about how he scores. He showed intent, he led by example.” he added.
Samson on Thursday scored 17 runs off 17 deliveries before being removed by CSK’s Tushar Deshpande.

In the match, Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a 43-ball 77 to guide the home side to a competitive 202 for five against Chennai Super Kings.

Young Dhruv Jurel smashed 34 off 15 balls, while Devdutt Padikkal remained unbeaten on 23 off 13 deliveries to power RR past the 200-run mark.
