The ICC T20 world cup 2022 is all set to commence on October 16, 2022 and will end on November 13, 2022. Sri Lanka has announced their team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. After winning the title of Asia cup 2022, Dasun Shanaka will lead the team in the T20 world cup 2022.
The Indian Premier League has now established itself as the gold standard for T20 cricket worldwide, and everyone wants to play in the lucrative competition. There are several players from the announced Sri Lanka T20 WC squad that are capable of participating in the 16th IPL season, despite the fact that many of them are already competing in the competition.

3 Players from Sri Lanka Squad for IPL 2023
Pramod Madhushan
The 28-year-old helped Sri Lanka win its sixth Asia Cup title in history by taking six wickets during the competition. In his two games for the Lankan team during the competition, he completely crushed the opponent lineup both times.
With four wickets on the finals night, Madhushan showed that he is a man for big moments. The young man has good ball-swinging skills and the capacity to secure early wickets. Pramod may be a strong favourite because many clubs are looking for players with the ability to swing and pick off wickets.
Dasun Shanaka
The skipper of Sri Lanka, Dasun Shanaka, had a fantastic Asia Cup. In his five matches, the 31-year-old scored 111 runs and took 2 wickets while competing in the event. T20 cricket just naturally fits him, whether it be his economy or strike rate.
Now that IPL teams are constantly hunting for a seam bowling all-arounder, Shanaka could be popular amongst the bidder. He has proven himself worthy of inclusion in the IPL and will probably continue to do so provided his performance level remains the same.
Dilshan Madhushanka
Dilshan Madhushanka is skilled with the new ball, just like Pramod Madhushan. He can definitely improve in the death overs. He may need to focus on his batting because he could have to bat in accordance with the needs of the team in a competition like the Indian Premier League.
The Lankan speedster took six wickets in his six games during the just-wrapped Asia Cup. He bowled 20 overs and handed up 155 runs while looking effective for the majority of those overs.
